An increasing human population has led to a rise in both food consumption and organic waste generation, several food processing companies discard their waste through landfills, incinerators, or treatment plants on other hand resources for increased food production to meet demand are increasingly becoming scarce and may not meet future our needs. While the continued sustainable availability of fishmeal for animal feeds is not assured due to competition between humans and the animal feed sector. High cost of production caused by scarcity of fishmeal and the wide gap between supply and demand has led to increase in prices of animal products beyond the reach of many people.
